Dibble Trek 2012
Dibble Trek 2012! Grandma and Grandpa Flanders volunteered to take Malakai and Raiyah on the Dibble trek while Ryan and I moved houses in Rhode Island. We were worried about the many day trek that the kids would have to do without us. It turns out they didn't need us at all. They loved every moment playing with cousins, and pulling a hand cart. They followed along the path that Philo Dibble went as a pioneer, and even got to see Dibble Rock where he inscribed a quote. What an incredible experience for the kids.
Malakai loved all the attention he got from all the girl cousins!
Very excited to wear his hat he got in Nauvoo. What a handsome pioneer.
My Uncle David and Aunt Jill Dibble along with all of their family joined with my family for the trek. Wish I could have been there, but so grateful my children were able to be part of the experience.

The Bubble
Who can resist going to the Bubble when visiting Utah. Does anyone call it the Bubble anymore? Maybe it's just the Bountiful Recreation Center. But we love going there. The kids have a blast on the toys, and swimming around the whirl pool part.
Brigham City Temple Open House 2012
We went to the Brigham City Temple Open House with my Mom. It was really special to be able to take the children inside the temple and have them see how beautiful and sacred our temples are from the inside. They always get excited for us when we go on a "date" to the temple, and it was fun to have them get a glimpse of why we go.
Pineview fun 2012
Spending the day at PINEVIEW!!!
It's always fun going to the lake with Grandpa's boat and playing with cousins.
Malakai wasn't a huge fan of the inner tube. Ryan kept going with him, and he finally stopped crying. Eventually he was waving and telling us to drive faster.
Raiyah and Lauren were hilarious on the tube. They wanted to go by themselves but we kept trying to drive and their tube would go underwater because they were too little. The last time they attempted by themselves Lauren fell off and wouldn't let go and was just screaming. Raiyah jumped in and told her it was just fine and to let go. They are so sweet together. They were excited when Ryan got on with them and they could actually ride.
Malakai was very sweet with his new cousin Haden
Can you see Dad in the background. While everyone was playing he just kept doing laps. What a tough old man. :)

UTAH VISIT
Although we had a great time we could tell it was no longer where our little family called home. We were ready to get back to our adventure when the weeks were up.
The kids love every moment with Ryan. He seems to always push them past their comfort level. I loved this picture on Raiyah's face. This is how the kids feel when he's pushed them a little too far. But they always go back to him for more fun times, so they must enjoy it.
Malakai's typical tackle pose right before he's about to pounce on Ryan.
